The original structures of this space have been eroded over the years and this has given rise to a series of majestic parallel razor-like features which lie perpendicular to the coast, interspersed with wide valleys. We should mention that remains were found here of Jandian wildlife which has now been driven to extinction on our coasts and there are a very small colony of col de risco (Crambe sventenii) on Vigán mountain.
